About Patrick King

I am always asked how long you have been a photographer.  Most kids want to be a Fireman, Policeman or even a Doctor when they grow up.  I knew at about 9-10 years old that I wanted to be a photographer.  I remember my first 110 camera that I bought at a drug store with my allowance money.  I was the family picture taker at a very young age and a camera was always within arms reach.

In high school I shot my first wedding which has now been almost 20 years ago.  I spent my college years working at one hour and custom photo printing labs and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography.  I followed my passion, landing a job as a corporate photographer for a large media company while continuing my freelance wedding and portrait photography.  I garnered an incredible amount of experience shooting various events, subjects and locations. 

Photography isn’t just my love and passion, it is my career.  It is that same career dream of a 9-10 year old that I share with my clients today.
